Preamble
We, the members of the United Nations Inter-Pacific Association (UNIPA), affirm our commitment to promoting universal human rights, sustainable development, intercultural cooperation, and peaceful collaboration among nations and communities.
Through a transnational, inclusive, and rights-based approach, we unite to build a world founded on dignity, equality, and global solidarity.
Name and Nature
* The name of the organization shall be- United Nations Inter-Pacific Association (UNIPA).
* It is a transnational Allience for rights, peace and development registered in the United Kingdom and Sweden, with operational chapters worldwide.
* UNIPA is not a governmental or intergovernmental body but is inspired by international cooperation models such as the United Nations.
Mission Statement
“To unite individuals, communities, and organizations across borders to protect human rights, promote sustainable development, and foster inclusive global cooperation through education, advocacy, and action.”
Vision Statement
“A just, peaceful, and equitable world where people of all cultures and nations collaborate to advance human dignity, social justice, and sustainable progress.”
Objectives
UNIPA shall work toward the following objectives:
1. Advocate for the protection and promotion of fundamental human rights globally.
2. Support initiatives for sustainable development, environmental justice, and climate resilience.
3. Promote education, youth engagement, and cross-cultural dialogue.
4. Empower marginalized communities through policy reform and grassroots development.
5. Build partnerships between civil societies, academia, and local governments.
6. Organize international forums, campaigns, and training programs for global awareness.
Structure
1.General Assembly
* Supreme policy-making body; composed of chapter representatives.
* Meets annually to adopt resolutions and review progress.
2. Executive Council
* Elected leadership body; includes President, Secretary-General, Treasurer, and Council Members.
* Manages strategic and operational decisions.
3. Secretariat
* Headed by the Secretary-General.
* Administers programs, communications, and day-to-day operations.
4. Thematic Councils / Committees
* Specialized arms in areas such as Human Rights, Development, Environment, Youth, and Peace.
5. International Chapters
* Country or region-based offices working locally in alignment with UNIPA’s mission.
6. Council of Advisors
* Senior experts providing guidance and strategic insight.
7.Observer & Partner Organizations
* External collaborators with consultative or participatory roles.

Rights:
* Voting rights (where applicable), participation in forums, access to resources.
Obligations:
* Adherence to UNIPA’s Charter and ethical standards.
Funding and Finance
* UNIPA is a non-profit entity.
* Funding sources: Membership fees, grants, donations, partnerships, and fundraising.
* Financial transparency and annual audits are mandatory.
Legal Status
* Registered in multiple jurisdictions with international operational scope.
* Operates within the legal frameworks of its host countries.
Amendments
* This Charter may be amended with a two-thirds vote by the General Assembly.
