Lapse of Membership
At UNIPA, membership is a commitment to shared values, responsibilities, and active engagement. However, in certain cases, memberships may be considered lapsed due to inactivity or non-compliance.
🔹 When Does a Membership Lapse?
A membership may be marked as lapsed under the following conditions:
- Failure to renew membership after the two-year validity period..
- Lack of engagement with UNIPA activities, forums, or initiatives for more than 12 months.
- Violation of UNIPA’s code of conduct or core principles.
- Upon written request from the member to discontinue affiliation.
🔹 Reinstating a Lapsed Membership
Former members may apply to reinstate their membership by:
- Submitting a renewal request form.
- Fulfilling any outstanding requirements or dues.
- Receiving approval from the Membership Committee.
