UNIPA has been formed to express the needs of the “people” in the midst of crises. Composed of analysts, activists, diplomats, scientists, scholars, journalists,Lawyers, educators and other professionals. UNIPA is highly committed to facilitating negotiations between political rivals, mitigate the regional and international chaos & Clash. UNIPA endeavors to inform, inspire and engage all Inter-pacific nations regarding the work, goals, and values of the United Nations to create a safer, fairer and more sustainable world. To implement our Strategic Plan, our Divisions, Young Professionals and Academic Network – all greatly assisted by our growing band of Goodwill Ambassadors – are active throughout Inter-pacific region. Our regional programs and many events help educate inter-pacific citizens and leaders about the UN’s vital work and encourage them to become involved in promoting the UN. We help inform and engage inter-pacific citizen regarding the UN’s critical role in maintaining the rules-based international order through the numerous treaties, conventions, agreements, norms and programs that impact on our daily lives and are often taken for granted – such as international aviation, postal services, shipping, banking, intellectual property rights, law, and telecommunications. Our efforts lead to a more informed, peaceful, prosperous, livable, resilient and modern multicultural Asia pacific society.
We hold a branch office in different countries of the inter pacific country and maintain a supporter base of over 200 active titled volunteers along with our chapter members & leaders.We aim to inform and affirm the general public of the activities, importance and values of the United Nations, projects and initiatives for change that are being implemented by the United Nations or are ought to be implemented in the future, and that are of interest of Inter-pacific countries. Through our activities, we promote the principles of understanding, tolerance, coexistence and inter-connectivity of the people regardless of the language, gender, race, national, ethnic or religious affiliation, all in order to establish new contacts and joint action towards solving contemporary problems in inter-pacific regions and the world. Additionally, UNIPA strives to promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies, both globally and regionally by promoting the peaceful and inclusive societies) and Revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development. As relevant scientific research on conflict reconciliation shows, we also share the position that the issue of regional reconciliation needs to be adequately addressed by engaging stakeholders in regional civil societies through a bottom-up approach, focusing on youth participation.
